They said it wouldn’t last… and I guess they were right. According to various news sources, pop star Britney Spears has filed for divorce from her husband of two years, Kevin Federline. The news was confirmed by a Los Angeles Superior Court spokesperson Pat Kelly who told reporters: “Yes, it’s confirmed. It was filed today, on the grounds of irreconcilable differences.” According to court documents, Spears gives a separation date of Monday and asks that each party pay their own legal fees and waives her right to spousal support.
