Tiger Woods Involved in Mysterious Car Accident

Golfer Tiger Woods was involved in a minor car crash yesterday morning. While I think everyone was glad to hear the golf legend only suffered minor facial cuts from the wreck, a lot of people are wondering just what happened as the details are sketchy. Tiger’s Cadillac Escalade SUV hit a fire hydrant and his neighbor’s tree as he was leaving his gated $2.4 million dollar home near Orlando, Fla. at 2:25 a.m. Reports are that his wife Elin heard the crash and had to smash the rear window with a golf club to get Tiger out. Expecting a Little Tiger

Tiger Woods and his wife Elin have announced that they are expecting their first child later this year. The couple became engaged in November of 2003. Tiger began dating the Swedish model after they were introduced by another golfer, Jesper Parnevik, who had briefly employed Elin as a nanny. The couple married on October 5, 2004 and has homes in Orlando, Wyoming, and Sweden. Tiger has been busy this year, including winning both the British Open and the PGA Championship. I do not think anyone will deny that to be a great athlete, you need natural talent. But, I think that great coaching and good parenting is also a big part of the equation. Fortunately for Tiger Woods, he had both in his father Earl. Earl Woods passed away on May 3rd, 2006 after a battle with cancer, but his legacy lives on in Tiger. Tiger reported that both mom and daughter are doing well and resting.
