Don't believe everything you hear... at least that's what Tracey Edmonds is telling her fans.

The gorgeous music executive, who recently endured a nasty split from ex-husband wannabe Eddie Murphy, says there is no truth to the rumors that she and rapper 50 Cent are a couple.

The mother of two young sons says the rumors started after paps shot her hanging out with 50 Cent at the Sundance Film Festival in Utah earlier this year.

According to Edmonds, she did attend the film festival and spent some time with the In Da Club rapper, but she insists the two just happened to be in the same places.

"I said hello to him (in a restaurant) and then we went upstairs because he performed after the dinner," Edmonds revealed in a recent interview. "Now there's a rumor that 50 and I are dating and that I spent the night alone with him that night."

Not true, insists Edmonds who added that she's not quite ready to start dating again after breaking up with "the love of my life."

Despite the ugly rumors that surrounded her split from Murphy, Edmonds went on the record saying, "I loved Eddie to death. He was the love of my life. Eddie knows that."

UGH! After hearing what the actor/comedian did to Edmonds during their mock wedding I think she's better off alone.

On the other hand I'm hoping the rumor that actress Cameron Diaz is dating 300 star Gerard Butler is 100% true.

The "Charlie's Angels" beauty and Justin Timberlake's ex has reportedly spent the last few weeks quietly dating the Scottish actor. The couple was photographed together at Los Angeles nightspots Chateau Marmont, Teddy's Bar at the Roosevelt Hotel and Shutters Hotel, where sources say they held hands and snuggled up to one another.

Since splitting from Timberlake in January 2007, Diaz has been romantically linked to singer John Mayer and magician Criss Angel. Meanwhile, Butler has previously dated actress Rosario Dawson and was rumored to have been in a brief romantic relationship with supermodel Naomi Campbell.

I heard DWTS' Julianne Hough is Butler's No. 1 fan, I didn't realize she had competition from you Lisa. And so true about Mayer!
