Soap Stars Find "Two" Times Is The Charm

Never give up on love. I guess that is the moral we should take away from the wedding of Days of Our Lives costars Billy Warlock and Julie Pinson. According to PEOPLE Magazine, the pair got hitched in Las Vegas this weekend after being engaged twice. That's right, twice.

The pair was set to marry in 1999, but decided to call it quits shortly before their wedding day. More than five years would pass before the couple would rekindle their romance-and they have their jobs to thank for it. After several years playing A.J. Quartermaine on ABC's General Hospital (I loved him on GH), Warlock returned to Days of Our Lives to resurrect his character Frankie Brady. As it happened, Pinson was also starring on the show, as spitfire Billie Reed. The couple says they fell in love again, got engaged, and this time followed through on their plans to walk down the aisle.

PEOPLE Magazine reports the couple shared an "intimate ceremony" that was attended by family and close friends. Now, here is the part of the story that made me sigh. The magazine reports that Pinson showed up to her Saturday nuptials wearing the original dress she had bought seven years earlier, "an ivory duchess satin Vera Wang gown with pink details." Isn't that touching? Or am I just a sap? Can you imagine? She must have really loved that dress. I'm sure it was lovely, but I would tear up every time I saw it hanging in my closet. To me it would represent bad memories. But, that's just me. Maybe, she kept it in storage somewhere and didn't have to see it on a daily basis. Then again, perhaps, she spent a ton of money on her dress and was determined to get her money's worth by wearing it... someday.

Like I said... never give up on love.
