Prince Harry is prepping to horse around in the Big Apple this weekend. Only his plans don’t include his on-again, off-again girlfriend Chelsy Davy. Rather, the youngest son of the late Princess Diana will be hitting the polo field for a fundraising event for his Sentebale charity for African children. The polo game marks Prince Harry’s first-ever formal visit to the United States. While in America the royal spare will participate in the second annual Veuve Clicquot Manhattan Polo Classic on New York’s historic Governors Island. The match will pit the 24-year-old prince against polo hottie Nacho Figueras. Despite the … Continue reading

Prince Harry Opens Mouth Inserts Foot Again and The Boss’ Ticket Scandal

Yes, he’s a cute prince, but someone please tell Harry he should be seen and not heard, at least for a while. He is once again in the headlines for an insensitive remark. At the 60th birthday party of his father Prince Charles, Harry reportedly told black comedian Stephen K. Amos “you don’t sound like a black chap.” Amos mentioned this incident yesterday on the British talk show “The Wright Stuff.” Amos said his first reaction was to ask the prince “How is I supposed to sound?” (This image, by Nick Warner, is licensed under Creative Commons Attribution 2.0 License) … Continue reading

Harry the Humanitarian

If Prince Harry had his way he would leave his royal life behind in England and move to Africa to help needy children there. The British royal solider is in the region trying to balance his army life and his charity work. For the next couple of weeks the handsome royal will work with Sentebale – the charity he and Lesotho’s Prince Seeiso founded in the memory of Harry’s late mother, Princess Diana. Four years ago Harry spent … Continue reading

Prince Harry Makes the Most of His Early Return from Afghanistan

No sense in crying over spilled milk… at least that’s Prince Harry’s philosophy since a media leak sent him from the frontlines of the war on terror back home to England nearly two months before he was ready. According to British news agencies, the handsome prince has swapped a tent in the desert, which he shared with unshowered comrades for a tent on a houseboat with his gorgeous Zimbabwean girlfriend Chelsy Davy. Today’s British papers are plastered with photos of the couple’s waterborne hideaway in Botswana. The pics include captions that speak of the prince’s hasty romantic retreat. You’ll recall … Continue reading

Prince Harry Fighting the Taliban

So much for keeping it a secret mission. Prince Harry has spent the last 10 weeks on the frontline in Afghanistan serving his country alongside his fellow soldiers. Only the world was not supposed to know about it. Of course, he is the son of Prince Charles and the late Princess Diana, so it should come as no surprise that someone let out that the 23-year-old second lieutenant in the Blues and Royals regiment of the Household Cavalry had finally gotten his wish to join his fellow British countrymen in the war-torn country. According to news reports, Harry arrived in … Continue reading

Royal Return

He’s baaaack! Prince Harry has returned to British soil after serving time on the frontlines in Afghanistan. The handsome royal was embraced by his brother Prince William and his father Prince Charles as he walked off the plane at the Royal Air Force Base Brize Norton, in Oxfordshire, 50 miles northwest of London. Shortly after Harry disembarked from the plane his father told reporters: “It’s a great relief to see him home in one piece.” Harry made it home safe and sound, but he’s back earlier than he expected. No thanks to the media representatives who went public with the … Continue reading
