Olympic gold-winning gymnast Dominique Moceanu and her husband, Dr. Michael Canales, couldn’t have asked for a better Christmas gift. Instead, of exchanging trinkets on December 25th the couple welcomed their first child, daughter Carmen Noel Canales at 3 p.m. on Christmas Day. According to the new mom, Carmen weighed 7 lbs., 7 oz. upon delivery and measured 18.5 inches. Still, I am thrilled to spread the good news that gymnast Dominique Moceanu and her husband Dr. Michael Canales will be welcoming their first child in January.
