“Dancing with the Stars” News—Maks and Cheryl Making Headlines

Looks like there’s good news for you Cheryl Burke fans who paid to see the two-time “Dancing with the Stars” champ bust a move in person. Earlier this week Burke contracted a mystery illness and was forced to sit out two shows—-including opening night in Seattle, and another performance in Sacramento. What’s Up With Helio and Julianne?

It’s been about a week since Helio Castroneves and Julianne Hough walked away with the tackiest trophy in primetime TV. And it didn’t tale long for the newly crowned “Dancing with the Stars” champs to become fodder for the tabloids. (Thanks in large part to Castroneves’ ex-fiancée.) Now, as the hype surrounding their fancy footwork (both on and off the dance floor) dies down, news about the golden couple is becoming less salacious. In fact, it’s becoming down right boring, unless you live in Indianapolis, Nashville, or Greensboro, North Carolina. If you are a resident of any of the aforementioned … Continue reading

Isn’t it ironic? For months the peacock network has been courting Rosie O’Donnell for a possible primetime talk show to air on MSNBC. Then, less than a day after the acerbic comedian blabbed to the media about the pending deal, NBC pulled the plug on its offer. O’Donnell was spurned for speaking out of turn, but later laughed off the incident when speaking about NBC’s decision on her website. “Listen, I’m too old!” O’Donnell said with a chuckle. “When you’re young, you do those things. ‘Yes, I won’t tell anyone! Lock me in the NBC vault!’ ” So, here’s the … Continue reading
