HIRED!

What do Australian actress Naomi Watts and Harry Potter have in common? Read on.

Watts hasn't even given birth yet (though she's reportedly due to pop any hour now) and she has already booked her next post-pregnancy acting gig.

Forget about being a stay-at-home mom, Watts has reportedly signed on to star in the big screen adaptation of J.K. Rowling's sixth book in the Harry Potter series, "Harry Potter and The Half-Blood Prince." According to Mugglenet.com, Watts will play Narcissa Malfoy, mother to school bully Draco Malfoy.

Shooting is scheduled to begin in September. So by my calculations she has roughly 5 weeks to bond with her baby before she adjusts to life juggling a career and a newborn.

FIRED!

She has earned the title of "hottest woman in the world," and now she's wielding the power that comes with it. According to US Weekly, "Fantastic Four" star Jessica Alba recently fired (see: dumped) her boyfriend of two years, Cash Warren.

I was actually sorry to hear the news. I always thought they made a cute couple. I guess looks don't count for everything (especially a lasting relationship). The magazine reports that Alba called Warren a few days ago and told him "I'm not in love with you anymore."

OUCH!

You'll recall Alba began dating Warren in 2005, when he was a director's assistant on the set of "Fantastic Four." The two were seemingly inseparable up until just recently and according to US Warren was completely caught off guard by Alba's decision.

A source told the magazine, the split "happened . . . almost out of nowhere," they said. "He's totally devastated."

VERY MUCH DESIRED

Matt Damon (sigh) has always been (sigh) a star (sigh) in my book (Sigh).

And now he has one of his own... on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

The actor received his star just hours ago and brought along his wife and mother to witness the momentous occasion.

"I can't believe I'm standing on a star with my name on it. I'm going to show my kids that," Damon told the crowds gathered for the ceremony.

Damon has starred in big screen hits, including "The Departed," "Syriana," "Confessions of a Dangerous Mind," "The Talented Mr. Ripley," and the "Ocean's" series. But it was for his work writing "Good Will Hunting" with his buddy Ben Affleck that won him an Oscar.
