Pop Culture Potpourri: Celebrity Weekend Wedding and Babies Galore

She didn't get to take home the mirrored disco-ball trophy on season three of "Dancing with the Stars," but contestant Willa Ford is not complaining... she's got a real prize in her life--her new husband.

The singer-actress married her longtime beau and Dallas Stars hockey player Mike Modano in Texas on Saturday, according to her manager.

Reports say the 26-year-old blonde beauty exchanged vows with her 37-year-old husband in an early evening ceremony held at a private ranch in front of 75 guests. And get this: Ford wore a wedding gown she designed herself.

Saturday's wedding puts to rest rumors that Ford was having a romance with her professional dance partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy. (No word on whether he showed up to witness Ford's nuptials.) Modano and Ford had an on-and-off relationship for more than four years before getting engaged last Thanksgiving.

After accepting Modano's proposal Ford landed the lead role of Anna Nicole Smith in a movie about the former Playboy Playmate's life. And, just last week Ford wrapped another movie she was shooting in Canada.

Now, she says, she is looking forward to spending some quiet time with her new husband at the Texas home they bought earlier this year.

"I'm really one of those old-fashioned Southern girls who wants to get married, have a little time as newlyweds and then have babies," Ford said.

Speaking of babies... singer Wendy Wilson has her hands full with four of them. The daughter of Beach Boy Brian Wilson (and former member of the pop group Wilson Phillips) just added two more sons to her family. Phillips and her record producer husband welcomed twin boys Will and Jesse last week. The new bundles of joy join big brothers Leo, 3, and Beau, 2. Now that's one busy mama!

Also, adding to the family is four-time World Figure Skating Champion Kurt Browning and his wife, Sonia. The couple welcomed their second son, Dillon, on August 14th. He reportedly weighed 7 pounds and was born in Canada. Dillon joins 4-year-old big brother Gabriel.
