It seems like I’ve read that teen smoking is down. But, that may not be the case if you are the teen of a celebrity. Scary Places: The Knickerbocker Hotel

Not long ago, I blogged about the Roosevelt Hollywood, a hotel reportedly haunted by the likes of Marilyn Monroe and Montgomery Cliff among others. But, the Roosevelt Hollywood isn’t the only haunted hotel in town. The Knickerbocker Hotel was built in 1925 as a luxury apartment building. It later became a hotel, with its Renaissance Revival Bar a favorite among the Hollywood crowd. Over the years, the Knickerbocker saw its share of fame, but also its share of scandal. Kiefer Sutherland Remembers Jail While Heather Locklear May Face It

Kiefer Sutherland talked to Men’s Vogue about his seven week jail sentence that he served late last year and earlier this year for DUI. In the December/January issue, which you can find on the newsstands on November 25th, two days before the season premiere of “24,” Sutherland talks about how terrible the ordeal was. He told the interviewer that there was no smoking in jail. Sutherland had to go without smoking for 48 days, which was somewhat comforting to him even though he resumed smoking when he was released. Let’s face it – Kiefer Sutherland has never been the poster boy for clean living. It seems like every so often the National Enquirer or Star magazine are reporting that Kiefer was drunk somewhere – a bar, a party, on the set.
