O.J. Simpson's in Hot Water Again

For some reason, O.J. Simpson seems to have a need to be in the spotlight, whether it be in a good way (with his football accomplishments and acting career) or in a bad way (the murder of former wife Nicole Simpson and friend Ron Goldman and the "fictitious" book). Once again, his name is in the headlines, but as you might guess, it is not in a good way.

O.J. has been questioned by investigators of the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department in regards to a break-in of a hotel room. Sgt. John Loretto confirmed that there is an allegation of a theft and O.J. Simpson was an alleged suspect.

The alleged break-in at the Palace Station Hotel and Casino occurred late Thursday. Riccio told Fox5 News that he saw the allegations that occurred. He stated that O.J. told him he was taking back items that had been stolen from him. Riccio said he got a call from a person who wanted to auction off some of O.J.'s possessions. Riccio, who had done business with O.J. in the past, called him and O.J. told him the items had been stolen from him. Riccio said that as he was being shown the items in the hotel room, O.J. entered and grabbed the items. However, Riccio said there was no break-in or any guns involved.

O.J. was questioned, then released, but is believed to still be in the Las Vegas area. So far, the media has not been able to contact Simpson or his lawyers and a spokesperson for the hotel has declined to comment on the situation.

The book O.J. wrote and hoped to publish for his own monetary gain, "If I Did It," hit the bookstores yesterday. The outrage of the public lead to the cancellation of the book deal for O.J. and a judge has since awarded the right to the Goldmans as part of their settlement for the wrongful death suit they won against O.J. They renamed the book "If I Did It: Confessions of the Killer."

From what I can tell this guy has absolutely no redeeming qualities.

None whatsoever. And what is sad is he used to seem like the All American kinda guy. Great football player - dabbled in acting - beautiful wife and two children - he had it made. Well, up until the murders that is.

And got away with it scot free. Grrrr!
