His peers knew him as a “gentle, sweet person” who could also be “incredibly funny.” Now, that funny man is gone. Tom Poston, well known for his roles on the television shows “The Bob Newhart Show “ and “Mork and Mindy” died Monday night. He was 85. According to news reports, Poston, who was married to his “Newhart” co-star Suzanne Pleshette, died at home after a brief illness (the nature of his illness was not made public). Queen Guitarist Completes Doctorate Queen has always been my favorite band. Well, okay, when I was six, I loved the Monkees, but I have always loved the music of Queen. Now, I read that not only are they talented musicians, but one of them is now a doctor! Brian May, renowned for what he can do with a guitar, just completed his doctorate in astrophysics.
