Yesterday, I was blogging about everyone turning 50 this year. I knew about the really big names - Madonna, Prince, and Michael Jackson - but, when I started doing the research, I was really surprised how many famous people were born in 1958:

Kenneth "Babyface" Edmonds - Singer, songwriter, guitarist, keyboardist, record producer, and film producer.

Andie MacDowell - Golden Globe award winning actress

Michelle Pfeiffer - Academy Award nominated actress

Eve Plumb - Jan from the "Brady Bunch"

Belinda Carlisle and Jane Wiedlin - lead singer and guitarist for the GoGos

Drew Carey - Comedian, actor, and current host of "The Price is Right"

Annette Bening - Academy Award nominated actress and wife of Warren Beatty

Ted McGinley - Veteran television actor and patron saint of the Jumped the Shark web site

Keenen Ivory Wayans - Comedian, actor, director, and writer who created Fox's "In Living Color"

Bruce Campbell - Star of The Evil Dead, The Evil Dead II, and Army of Darkness (and my personal favorite B-actor)

Kevin Bacon - Actor who has appeared in many movies over the past four decades including Footloose, Wild Things, Apollo 13, Mystic River, and The Woodsman

Deborah Norville - Journalist who has appeared on "Inside Edition," "Today," "NBC Nightly News," and "CBS Evening News."

Angela Bassett - Academy Award nominated actress who portrayed Tina Turner in What's Love Got to Do with It

James Van Praagh - Spiritual medium who has written several best selling books as well as developed and served as co-executive producer of "Ghost Whisperer."

Orel Hershiser - MLB Gold Glove, Cy Young Award, NLCS MVP, and World Series MVP winner

Jennifer Tilly - Academy Award nominated actress who has also won a World Series of Poker bracelet winner

Lita Ford and Joan Jett - Both teenage members of the girl band The Runaways in the mid Seventies who went on to successful solo careers

Michael Madsen - Tough guy actor who has starred in such films as Mullholland Falls, Wyatt Earp, Donnie Brasco, Reservoir Dogs, and Kill Bill I and II.

Shaun Cassidy - Late Seventies singing teen idol who was the half brother of early Seventies heart throb David Cassidy who began creating television shows such as "American Gothic," "Cold Case," and "The Agency" later in his career.
