Summer Movie Dates With the Kids

This summer, movie theaters are offering all sorts of deals for kids’ movies shown usually on Tuesday or Wednesday morning. They are usually older movies, but kids don’t care. If their favorite characters are on the big screen, they are happy. At 10am on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, Regal Entertainment Group is offering a Free Family Film Festival. Kids Choice Award Nominees

I guess since I have a preschooler, I should begin paying more attention to this stuff. But frankly, unless the Backyardigans or Wonder Pets show up, I think Will could careless about these awards – for now at least. But, I am sure my time is coming! Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Chipmunk Adventure (1987)

I used to watch Alvin and the Chipmunks when I was a little girl. With the release of the new film “Alvin and the Chipmunks,” a whole new generation is being introduced to the furry little singing rodents. My kids were thrilled when I brought home “The Chipmunk Adventure.” Although animated and not live action, like the new film, they enjoyed learning more about Alvin, Simon, and Theodore. The Next Hannah Montana Must Have

The next thing your kid is going to want is a flight to Nashville on Sunday. There will be an open casting call at the Sommet Center by Walt Disney Studios for extras to appear in “a major motion picture based on a hit television series starring a well known pop teen sensation.” Since we all know the Hannah Montana movie will be shot in Nashville, this seems a bit of a no-brainer.
