Jon Gosselins Mantrums and Michael Jackson's Millions

Not only does Jon Gosselin have soon to be ex-wife problems (with his babies mama Kate), but he also apparently has current girlfriend problems. Hailey Glassman, the daughter of the plastic surgeon that did Kate's tummy tuck after the birth of their sextuplets, has publicly said that Jon is like "Jekyll and Hyde" and that he throws what she calls "mantrums." For those that don't know, that is a male tantrum. Hailey also told "The Insider" in a two part interview that Jon takes his anger out on her and is emotionally abusive, but she still loves him.

For his part, Jon told "The Insider" that Hailey has "paid a significant price to live under such a media microscope." He went on to say he was "grateful for her emotional support" and regretted any pain he may have caused her. Jon asked that he be given the opportunity to make things right, not only with Hailey, but also Kate and especially his children.

Michael Jackson continues to make millions, even in death. The Michael Jackson's This Is It documentary, which included footage of the concert he was rehearsing for when he died, was released this week. In the first day, it made $7.4 million domestically and $12.7 million overseas (including $1.9 million in Great Britain, $1.4 million in France, $1.2 million in Japan, and $1.1 million in Germany). If you are as bad at math as I am, I will add it up for you - that is $20.1 million for a one day total. The domestic haul alone made Sony declare it the best earnings for a movie released on a Wednesday in October. Perhaps more impressive, This is It also became one of the top grossing music documentaries. Last weekend's high earner, Paranormal Activity, grossed only $1.5 million. Sony expects the film to continue to do well through the holiday weekend.

The film was made of 100 hours of footage taken during the rehearsals.

Jon's lucky, I actually think his self destruction came early. Look at other shameless Hollywood types like Mel Gibson who have yet to repent. Though, something tells me that Jon's so-called revelation has strings attached. There's more to this than meets the eye and I'm sure he is doing it for himself more than he is for his kids.
