Who Won’t Be Eating Turkey Today

I am not a huge fan of turkey, but Thanksgiving just doesn’t seem like Thanksgiving without one, at least to me. But, there are plenty of celebrities that won’t be eating turkey this year because they are vegetarian or vegan. Last year, I blogged about one of my favorite actors, Joaquin Phoenix, who had apparently gone off the deep end. The two-time Academy Award nominated actor suddenly started appearing scruffy in public (maybe unwashed is a more accurate description) and acting strangely. He announced he was done with acting. There must be something crazy going on in the air of Celebrityville because couples are getting married left and right. There was singer Natasha Bedingfield and Matthew Robinson, who tied the knot on Saturday, as did actor Bruce Willis and his model girlfriend of a year, Emma Herning. Joaquin Phoenix is in the news again and as you might suspect, it is not in a good way. The actor turned rapper has puzzled everyone with his new bizarre personality and looks, but no one really seems to know if it is all an act or just a frightening public breakdown a la Britney. A Review of the 81st Academy Awards – Part 2

There were some amusing moments during this year’s Academy Awards ceremony. I thought it was cute when Kunio Kato added “Domo arigato, Mr. Roboto” to the end of his thank you speech for Best Short Film (Animated), La Maison en Petits Cubes. And, I absolutely loved it when high wire walker Phillippe Petit thanked the Academy for believing in magic then did the magic trick. That was also as good as him balancing the Oscar on his chin.
