It's WAR!

I didn't buy it for a second. There is no way I was going to believe that Denise Richards and Charlie Sheen had buried the hatchet "for the good of the children." Puh-leeze. The guy was being accused of abusing drugs and "losing control of his emotions," among other despicable and vulgar deeds. Do you really think that a few months would erase all that?
Yeah right!
Get ready for round two in the ongoing divorce battle between the Hollywood heavyweights.
During the past couple of days, the actor has been appearing on various entertainment news shows making the jaw-dropping claim that Richards wants to have another child with him.
"There was a request for a donation," Sheen, who recently proposed to girlfriend Brooke Mueller, told TV's "Entertainment Tonight."
"Without getting into it here," the "The Two and a Half Men" star told ET, "There is documentation that I'll show in court revealing the request for my 'donation.' I'm good enough to provide DNA but I'm not good enough to hire my own childcare provider?"
In that last comment Sheen is referring to his current custody arrangement with daughters Sam, 3, and Lola, 2. According to court documents, Sheen is requesting looser visitation rights - that won't require him to be supervised (currently the children are accompanied to Sheen's home by a nanny selected by his former wife). According to the New York Post, a friend of Sheen's says Richards is "doing everything she can to keep his visits supervised by her nanny, because her nanny spies for her."
Richards went public yesterday denying all of Sheen's claims, telling the New York Post in regards to wanting Sheen's DNA for another baby: "I don't want another child right now. I have my hands full and am focusing on my children. I thought I was past all this stuff."
So did I (well, not really), especially after the much publicized flower incident, where Richards allegedly sent flowers to Sheen's girlfriend following the announcement that the couple was engaged.
Regarding that incident Sheen told ET: "What I find curious and somewhat amusing is that the press knew she sent flowers before they arrived."
Richards' retort to Sheen's claim went something like this: "This is disgusting. He is doing this now because he's not happy with me and the custody arrangement."
You'll recall that Richards filed for divorce from Sheen in March 2005, when she was six months pregnant with Lola. In November of last year, a court legally ended their status as a married couple. However, their divorce has yet to be finalized.
Who to believe? In the end I don't think a judge is going to look kindly on either one of them. No judge is going to appreciate the way either parent has aired his/her dirty laundry in public, especially where the issue of their children's best interest is concerned. However, I think it deserves mentioning that Sheen was court ordered to have his visitations with his daughters monitored by a third party. And court orders aren't issued based solely on allegations. Typically, there are professionals involved who assess a situation and then make recommendations to the judge.
We'll see how this ugly-nightmare-that-looked-like-it-had-been-resolved pans out, but I just want to go on the record as saying... I knew all the nicey-nicey business was a big ruse. A feud like Richards and Sheen's doesn't magically resolve itself overnight.
