Is Nicole Kidman Pregnant?

With the recent boom of celebrity babies, there is a constant watch on new celebrity relationships and weddings. I opened my Star Magazine this week to find a few photos of Nicole Kidman looking like she was pregnant. They were taken as she was leaving a yoga workout in Nashville, TN on June 15th, ten days before her Australian wedding. Is she pregnant? Was her recent wedding to country singer Keith Urban a "shotgun" wedding?

Well, I do not know and chances are we will not know for sure until her publicist releases some type of statement saying she is pregnant. The photos in Star magazine did show Nicole's belly and it looked pretty round. That does not mean that someone could not have doctored the photos with a graphics editor. However, it could be that Nicole is indeed pregnant and just hoping to avoid the media flurry caused by the birth of ex-husband Tom Cruise and Katie Holme's baby Suri for as long as possible.

It would not be unlike Nicole or Keith's publicists to deny an actual truth. After all, in August of 2005, a representative for Keith said the two were friends, but not dating. In November of 2005, Keith's publicist Paul Freundlich said that their engagement was just a rumor. And, in February of 2006, Nicole's Australian publicist, Wendy Day, said that she knew of no wedding being planned.

I would think that even if Nicole were not currently pregnant, children are on her mind. She has two adopted children with Tom Cruise - Connor, age 11 and Isabella, age 13. It was also rumored that she had a miscarriage shortly after she and Tom separated in 2001. At the age of 39, her biological clock must be ticking - I know mine was at 39! In addition, her "babies" are growing up - it may be time for not only a new husband, but a new addition to their brood as well!
