When I heard Cleveland Cavaliers’ superstar LeBron James would be appearing on the April cover of Vogue I couldn’t believe it. Then I heard supermodel Gisele Bundchen was gracing the cover with him and it made more sense. Nothing against the All-Star forward… he’s got a ripped body, not to mention his own Nike clothing line, but in the fashion magazine’s 116-year history only two men-—actors Richard Gere and George Clooney–have graced the cover of the legendary publication. Movie Milestones – 25th Anniversaries

It is the twenty fifth anniversary of many famous films from 1982. I was but a youngster then (19) and going to the movies was one of my favorite activities (still is!). E.T., The Extra-Terrestrial It is hard to believe it has been twenty-five years since Drew Barrymore graced the big screen as the adorable Gertie. It was the highest grossing movie that year and won three of the nine Oscars for which it was nominated. Indian Court Issues Warrant for Richard Gere

Wow, the Indian Court system is serious! If you remember the other day, I wrote about how Richard Gere was in trouble for giving Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty a hug and kiss during an AIDS awareness function in New Dehli earlier this month.
