My best friend’s daughter planks. Or is that the right wording? Should I call her a planker? If you don’t know what planking is, don’t feel so bad. Screen Actors Guild Awards

The 17th Annual Screen Actors Guild (SAG) awards ceremony was held tonight. The SAG President Ken Howard talked about the hopes of merging of the Screen Actors Guild (SAG) and the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (AFTRA). The Lifetime Achievement Award went to Ernest Borgnine. Borgnine has 200 titles listed on his Internet Movie Database page, including such iconic films as The Wild Bunch, From Here to Eternity, and The Dirty Dozen. Dennis Hopper Dies at 74

If you have seen a picture of Dennis Hopper lately, you knew his death was inevitable and today, the inevitable took one of Hollywood’s perennial bad boys. Dennis Hopper died of prostate cancer at the age of 74. Hopper’s last public appearance was when he received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on March 26 of this year. Dennis Hopper Gets Hollywood Star

Actor Dennis Hopper got a much deserved star on the famous Hollywood Walk of Fame this week. But, it was obvious to anyone that saw pictures taken at the event that the actor is in failing health. The gaunt actor, who is suffering from prostate cancer, had to be helped on stage by a friend. His right arm and eye were bandaged, something Hopper attributed to a fall outside his home. They seemed like the perfect couple less than a week ago. Sandra Bullock won the Best Actress Oscar for her performance in The Blind Side. It is time for the Golden Raspberry Awards, more affectionately known as the Razzies. Well, at least affectionately by those not receiving one.
