Hollywood's Latest Baby Boom

Goldie Hawn is a grandma-again. Hawn's son Oliver Hudson and his wife Erinn Bartlett announced that they have just become first time parents to a baby boy.

According to E! News, Wilder Brooks Hudson was born August 23 (a few weeks before Bartlett's scheduled due date) in Los Angeles.

The 30-year-old actor who is currently starring on the CBS comedy "Rules of Engagement" and his 34-year-old actress wife have been married for just over a year.

Wilder joins his 3-year-old cousin Ryder (mom is Kate Hudson) in the competition for most spoiled grandson.

Also joining the first time parent's club is Australian actress Jacinda Barrett and her husband Gabriel Macht. They welcomed their first child, a baby girl, on August 20 in Los Angeles.

Barrett's publicist says the former MTV "Real World" star has named her new addition Satine Anais Geraldine Macht.

Satine's parents have been married since 2004.

And finally... It's good news for Calvin Klein's ex-wife Kelly.

After a tumultuous past few years, which included her divorce from the top fashion designer last year, Kelly Klein is reportedly preparing to become a mom for the first time... at age 50.

According to the New York Post, Kelly is using an unidentified surrogate mother implanted with one of her eggs to give birth to a baby boy. (This, after remaining childless throughout her entire 20-year-marriage to fashion czar Calvin Klein.) According to the paper, the baby is due in nearly November and Klein is scheduled to fly out to California for the event.

Kelly's publicist told the paper that the baby boy would be taking his mother's maiden name of Rector.

Personally I couldn't be happier for Kelly. She stayed loyal to her former spouse for more than two decades and on more than one occasion I saw TV interviews with her saying she wanted a child. The Post also recalled a time shortly before her 40th birthday when Klein lamented that she could feel her biological clock ticking down, and said she might consider adoption at one point.

A 50-year-old first time mom who looks like she is 25--way to go Kelly!
