Hollywood Stars Denying Pregnancy Rumors

This blog usually features announcements by celebrities who are happy to report that they are months away from welcoming a new bundle of joy into their families. It's not often that you get a blog dedicated to Hollywood A-listers who are publicly announcing that they are NOT pregnant. But, that's exactly what two female stars are doing.

Former "Alias" star, Jennifer Garner--whose daughter with husband Ben Affleck, Violet, turned 1 yesterday-- has spent the past few days dispelling rumors that she is expecting another baby.

"No, everyone calm down. Nobody's pregnant," the actress told reporters.

The 34-year-old actress does admit: "I'm in the worst shape ever." However, she tells ELLE magazine that she is in the process of getting back to her pre-pregnancy action-star form. She even shared with ELLE staff members the nickname her trainer gave her: "Disaster."

During her interview with the magazine Garner reportedly lifted her sweater to reveal her midriff, and said, "You still have that little bit of extra skin, know what I mean? But still, it's enough for people to think that you're knocked up."

I read that and just cringed. I can't believe that Garner has to defend the physical changes she endured as a result of carrying a child around for 9 months. UGH! Sure, she kicked butt as the star of "Alias" and "Elektra," but isn't she allowed at least a year to whip her body back into shape. According to Hollywood, apparently not. (Note to Garner: I think you look great.)

Actress Sandra Bullock also looks hot, hot, hot. Perhaps, the glow she is emitting is why rumors are flying that she is pregnant. Bullock is many things--wife, big-screen superstar, Hollywood hottie--but according to her rep: "She's definitely not pregnant."

In fact, in a statement to PEOPLE magazine, the actress and husband Jesse James laughed off rumors that they're expecting a child, saying: "We are not with child, but we are pregnant with ideas." And, recently Bullock did give "birth"... to a new restaurant. Earlier this month Bullock opened an upscale eatery called Bess in Austin, where she and her husband have a home.
