Reps for the 35-year-old host of “Last Call With Carson Daly” just announced that Siri Pinter is in fact pregnant with Daly’s baby. Pinter is a staff member on Daly’s late-night show. The two reportedly started dating about a year ago. Interestingly, the couple have never been photographed in public together and not much is know about Daly’s baby mama save for the fact that she is in her mid-20s, attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison, has family in … Continue reading

You don’t need to know Food Network queen Paula Deen very well to know that her Savannah, Georgia eatery, The Lady & Sons is her pride and joy. Staying Healthy on Trips Abroad

Whenever I watch those Food Network shows following people on their exotic food eating adventures I often wonder if they ever sample dishes that have made them sick. In a previous blog I shared with you what happened to my brother the last time he got thirsty in Bali. And his story is not unique. Sampling local cuisine from the far ends of the planet is one of the most satisfying aspects of foreign travel. But while the delicious scents may draw you in and your palate might enjoy the culinary masterpieces, your stomach may not always be happy with … Continue reading

Two Great Appetizers for Your Holiday Gathering

My mother in law generally does the holidays. When we’re all together there are twenty two in total. She manages to serve something that each of us likes but there is one thing that always strikes me when we go to visit for a holiday gathering. The non stop food buffet. From the time we arrive until dessert, there is a constant supply of food. She knows how to entertain and one could easily fill up on her appetizers before you ever got to the main dish. Indeed a good appetizer buffet is key to keeping guests happy. It is … Continue reading
