Michelle Obama’s Expensive Fashion Faux Pas

What do you usually wear when you volunteer to serve meals at your local food bank? If you are First Lady Michelle Obama, you throw on a pretty cardigan from J.Crew and some designer satin sneakers. Sounds innocent enough, right. Well, the moderately priced sweater is not what has people the world over buzzing this morning. Rather, it’s Michelle’s satin stomps that have tongues wagging. Remember those controversial Sasha and Malia Obama dolls that have been the subject of way too many of my blogs? Well, apparently, people don’t want to bid aloha to them just yet. In fact, here’s some news that shouldn’t surprise anyone: The Obama girl look-alikes are HOT, HOT, HOT! You saw that coming, right? Now, in the spirit of compromise (or threats from loyal customers), Ty has decided to change the dolls’ names. The … Continue reading

First Mom Speaks Out about Obama Girl Dolls

Michelle Obama thinks her two daughters are dolls, but she doesn’t want the rest of the world to see them that way. In one of her first official moves, President Barack Obama’s wife, Michelle went public denouncing a popular toy maker for marketing dolls with the same names as her children, Malia and Sasha. Not only do the dolls share the same names as the young Obama offspring, but they also look remarkably similar to the first daughters as well. (See for yourself by clicking here.) The resemblance didn’t sit well with the new first lady, who took a swing … Continue reading
