Fabio vs. George Clooney---For Real

I'm not talking about on TV or in the pages of a steamy romance novel. I'm talking about the real deal. A full-on fist flying altercation that took place in a crowded Beverly Hills restaurant. In front of George Clooney's lady love no less.

It's true; two legendary Hollywood heartthrobs going head-to-head last week in a bizarre incident that still has Tinseltown talking. According to news reports, Clooney was having dinner with his girlfriend Sarah Larson and another male acquaintance at ritzy Madeo's restaurant. Meanwhile, Fabio was dining at a nearby table with a group of women. Towards the end of their meal Fabio's group reportedly began taking photos of themselves at their table.

However, witnesses say Clooney got uptight when he caught wind that Fabio's pals were aiming their cameras at his table. That's when Clooney reportedly flipped off the person behind the lens.

A few minutes later the famous longhaired literary lover approached Clooney's table to explain that he was hosting a charity dinner and that his guests were only taking pictures of each other.

According to restaurant patrons who witnessed the exchange, Fabio told Clooney that his finger gesture lacked class and he could teach the movie star some manners.

Apparently, Clooney doesn't take well to people who star in butter substitute commercials telling him how to live his life because within minutes of Fabio's comments the two men exchanged expletives and shoves. Restaurant staff say the Hollywood hunks had to be physically separated by Madeo's managers.

Explaining the altercation to TV's "Access Hollywood" Fabio said:

"The women and I were taking pictures of us together only. The women were not taking pictures of George. Out of courtesy, I even went over to George's table to explain that to him. I just feel badly that it ruined the night of these women who paid to support charity. I am thinking of something to make it up to them."

Fabio's manager also added his two cents' worth during the TV interview: "Clooney started on 'ER' and Fabio was going to send him back there."

SNAP!

Let's review the stats: In this corner we've got 6'4", 220-pound Fabio and in this corner we've got 5'11", 170-pound Clooney.

The way I see it all Clooney would have had to do is yank Fabio's famous locks... and game over.

Glad to hear Clooney has recovered from his motorcycle accident.

Seems that way--either that or he was so furious with Fabio that the pain from his tender ribs were an afterthought. Thanks for the comment.
