Many loyal Elvis fans are just a few short weeks away from marking the 30th anniversary of the singer’s death, but that’s not why the singing legend is generating a buzz outside of Graceland. Michael Bolton vs. Bruno Tonioli

Even if you don’t watch “Dancing with the Stars,” you might have heard about the throw down between now-eliminated celebrity dancer Michael Bolton and judge Bruno Tonioli. Bolton danced a jive to Elvis’ “Hound Dog” with partner Chelsie Hightower last Monday night and Tonioli let him have it in his critique. Bolton’s total score from all the judges was 12, with Carrie Ann Inaba giving him a 4, Len Goodman giving him a 5, and Tonioli giving him a 3. But it was Tonioli’s words that were most stinging to Bolton. He named it the “worst jive in 11 seasons” … Continue reading

The following are their top picks for family fun in Sin City: Lied Discovery Children’s Museum Located about 10 miles north of the Strip, the Lied Discovery Children’s Museum is a … Continue reading

Lazy In Las Vegas

I’m all for taking it easy on vacation. In fact, prior to having my daughter I spent many a vacation sprawled out on a lounge chair with a stack of magazines next to me soaking up the sun until it set. I would then retire to my room, order room service, and call it a night (an entire day in the sun can take a lot out of you…). But when I heard how some tourists in Las Vegas are choosing to spend their vacations I had to wince. My dad, who is a frequent visitor to Vegas, has a … Continue reading
