Edward Norton is one of my favorite actors, but he is also a proponent of green issues. But, then green runs in his family. His father is the director of the Nature Conservancy’s Yunnan Great Rivers conservation project, his sister got her graduate degree in environmental policy, and his brother is a professional guide who has taken whitewater trips through the Grand Canyon. I just love Edward Norton – have ever since I saw him play Aaron Stampler so well in Primal Fear. However, he has been involved in a few controversies while making films. First was during (and after) 1998’s American History X, for which he won an Academy Award nomination for Best Actor. Back in July 1998, director Tony Kaye was pushing New Line Cinema to use his editing cut of the film. Celebrities and the Kentucky Derby

That’s right – it is the first Saturday in May and that means the Kentucky Derby. This Grade I stakes race for three-year-old thoroughbreds is known as “the most exciting two minutes in sports.” Of course, while the race only lasts two minutes, the celebration known as the Kentucky Derby Festival lasts two weeks long.
