Dick Clark Dies at 82

The world’s oldest teenager died today. Consummate host/producer/television and radio personality Dick Clark passed away today at the age of 82 from what TMZ is reporting as a “massive heart attack.” My first thought was “He was only 82?” It seems as if he packed twice as many years of living into that time. Clark began working right out of high school as an office worker at a radio station in NY owned by his uncle and managed by his father. Ed McMahon Dies at 86

You had to know this was coming, but it is still sad to see a television icon pass away. Ed McMahon died at the age of 86 at the Ronald Reagan/UCLA Medical Center just a little after midnight last Monday. McMahon had several health problems lately including a neck ailment, pneumonia, bone cancer, and possible illnesses due to toxic mold found in his home. He had been hospitalized since February of this year. McMahon served in the Marine Corps during World War II, receiving six Air Medals.
