KATIE'S RECORD RECOVERY

Remember those last comments I made about Katie Holmes running yesterday's New York City Marathon? They don't compare to the ones I'm about to dish now.

Girl just spent 5:29:58 running 26.2 miles in and around New York City, then a few hours later she shows up in high heels for her hubby's movie premiere.

Someone get this girl a doctor!

After my first marathon my legs felt like tree trunks that had been absorbing water in a logging camp for months. I could barely sit down in the bathtub. The last (and I mean very last) thing I would have ever considered doing was to squeeze my feet into black, open-toed pumps and walk the red carpet.

But, that's exactly what Mrs. Tom Cruise did last night. Holmes and Cruise walked hand-in-hand into the Museum of Modern Art Sunday night for a screening of his new film Lions for Lambs.

Even the paps who showed up to document the event were in shock. When one commented on his wife's resilience, Cruise beamed proudly, and said, "I know, I know. It's amazing."

Try insane.

Even more telling might be this quote from Cruise's mother who was also on hand for the film's premiere.

"Isn't she amazing?" gushed Cruise's mom. "She's such a good girl. We're so proud [of her]."

Perhaps, there really is something to those reports that suggest Holmes is a robo-wife...

"DANCING'S" LATEST ROMANCE

It worked for Mario and Karina... so, why not add to the group love fest?

It appears the rumors of romance on the set of "Dancing with the Stars" are true after all.

It's official: Sabrina Bryan and her pro dance partner Mark Ballas are dating.

Bryan recently told TV Guide, "I absolutely love and adore him."

Okay, but that's what she's been saying about her on-screen partner in taped pieces tha have aired on the hit ABC show for the past several weeks. Remember the episode where Ballas' mom helped coach them? That's when I began to wonder if there was more going on between Bryan and Ballas. Only I brushed off rumors of a romance because Sabrina seems like a naturally affectionate person who "loves and adores" everyone.

But, alas, it appears since their shocking departure from last week's show, the Cheetah Girl and the clean-cut cutie are "exploring their feelings."

Bryan told TV Guide she and Ballas went out on their first official date a few nights ago.

Frankly, I'm not sure I see it lasting. I think that their coupling stemmed from their surprise (and extremely premature) exit from the show. And now they are taking solace in one another, but the romance will fizzle once the season ends. What do you think?

Oh, I didn't mean that! I totally agree with you Valorie... in fact as I was posting the blog I wondered if it was too cynical. Sardonic, cynical, it's Hollywood we're talking about here--you're right, no sense in denying the obvious. Of course I do plan to strut my feathers if I turn out to be right :-)

Oh I know you didn't. . .I was laughing at myself when I saw the mistake! Just once. . .I'd like to see someone stay together though ya know? Like Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt. . .or Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillipe.
