The third time proved to be the charm for pro surfer Laird Hamilton. After being blessed with two daughters, Hamilton’s current wife, volleyball star Gabrielle Reece finally added a boy to the family. Reece and Hamilton welcomed son Brody Jo Hamilton on New Year’s Day in Hawaii. According to the couple’s rep, Brody weighed in at 8 lb., 2 oz., and joins the couple’s first child, 4-year-old sister Reece Viola. Hamilton also has a 12-year-old daughter from a previous marriage. I recently blogged about rapper T.I., currently being held in jail on gun charges. He allegedly sent his bodyguard to purchase machine guns. Machine guns? According to news reports, photographer Larry Birkhead, who claims to be the father of Anna Nicole Smith’s newborn daughter, Dannielynn Hope, just filed papers in a California court to establish paternity and obtain legal custody of the child.
