Another DUI Arrest and Another Celebrity Divorce

Having learned nothing from Kiefer Sutherland, Lindsay Lohan, Rebecca De Mornay, or Mickey Rourke, actress Mischa Barton was arrested this weekend on DUI charges. After straddling two lanes and failing to signal when turning, the 21 year old was pulled over by sheriff’s deputies on La Cienega Boulevard at 2:45 a.m. The deputies found Mischa had been drinking and was in possession of marijuana. If you’ve watched even a few minutes of the news in the last week then you seen that parts of California have been reduced to a charred smoky mess. Britney’s Home Away From Home In Fire’s Path

I’m not referring to the pop star’s sprawling beachfront Malibu pad that she shares with her two sons (when she’s allowed to see them). I’m talking about Brit’s rehab digs–Malibu Promises. The rehabilitation center to the stars (other unsuccessful alum include Lindsay Lohan) was forced to move staff members and about 20 patients as flames from the massive Southern California wildfires crept closer to the facility. In my previous blogs I told you that stars such as Sean Penn and Suzanne Somers were just a few of the Malibu residents forced to flee their million-dollar mansions since Sunday. Answer: He suffered a minor heart attack. Question: What happened to “Jeopardy” host Alex Trebek? The 67-year-old longtime game show host gave his family quite a scare Monday night. Trebek reportedly felt pains in his chest and was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles where doctors discovered he had a minor heart attack. According to Trebek’s rep, the Canadian-born celebrity will remain in the hospital for a couple more days for tests and observation.
