Celebrity Baby News---Who's Expecting The Next Little Starby Michele Cheplic | More from this Blogger 09 Feb 2007 12:38 PM Hollywood is preparing for a baby boom. This week some of my favorite celebrities announced they would be adding to their families in 2007. The announcement that surprised me the most came from award-winning director and actor Kevin Costner. According to news reports, Costner and his wife are expecting their first child together this summer. The actor wed 32-year-old Christine Baumgartner, near Aspen, Colorado, in September 2004. The wedding followed a long courtship that began in 1998. Despite an almost 20-year age difference, the two are reportedly "like little kids together, really in love," a source told entertainment reporters at the time of the couple's wedding. The new baby will be the first for Baumgartner. Costner has three adult children from his first marriage. His picture once graced the inside of my school locker when I was a kid, now former "Beverly Hills, 90210" star Jason Priestley and his wife are expecting their own child. According to news reports, the 37-year-old actor and his wife of less than two years will welcome their first child this summer. You may remember that the couple wed in May 2005 in the Bahamas before 120 guests, including Priestley's former "90210" costars Jennie Garth, Ian Ziering, Tiffani Thiessen and Tori Spelling (who is currently pregnant with her first child). She recently guest-starred on NBC's hit drama "ER," and now former "Roseanne" actress Sara Gilbert has announced she's working on a new project---her second child. According to entertainment news reports, the 32-year-old actress is pregnant and will give birth some time this summer. She is already mom to a son Levi, born in October 2004. Joining Gilbert at the maternity stores is "Gilmore Girls" actress Melissa McCarthy. The first time mom-to-be is expecting her first child with husband Ben Falcone. According to news reports, the baby is due in May. The couple wed in 2005. "We are so excited about the baby," McCarthy told PEOPLE. "I'm hoping the baby has a lot of Ben's calm traits and less of my spazzy ones."
