George Clooney – Humanitarian

Really George Clooney? You are already extremely talented (having an Oscar to attest to that), incredibly good looking (having left behind him a string of beauties and he is currently dating statuesque WWE Diva Stacy Keibler), and now continues to be unbelievable giving. If he wasn’t so lovable and charming, we would surely all hate him. This time, Clooney has auctioned off his beloved 2008 Tesla “Signature 100” Roaster for charity. He said the car, with only 1,825 miles, was a joy to drive, but he loves something else even more – helping make the world a better place. Clooney’s … Continue reading

Celebrities Who Had Baseball Dreams – Part 2

Another baseball season has kicked off and there are a least a few celebrities who, at one time, hoped to be on a diamond instead of on the big or small screen. Actor Kurt Russell’s father was a baseball player and Kurt had hoped to follow in his footsteps. Russell played second base for the Double-A minor league affiliate of the California Angels. He was leading the league in hitting with a .563 batting average before a collision with a player running to second base. Russell suffered a torn rotator cuff in his right shoulder and had to retire from … Continue reading

In fact, Ellen DeGeneres used former Reds players as a ploy to get Clooney on her show last January. She … Continue reading
