Celebrities in Trouble: Ryan O’Neal Arrested

Actor Ryan O’Neal was arrested last weekend at his home in Malibu. He was booked on charges that he assaulted his 42-year-old son Griffin with a deadly weapon. The Sheriff’s deputies arrived at his home Saturday night at 12:30 am. They said Ryan had fired at least one shot from a gun during the fight. Ryan has said he fired in self-defense. He was booked then released at 5:30 a.m. after posting he posted a $50,000 bail. Redmond O’Neal Gets Rehab

Redmond O’Neal, the son of actors Ryan O’Neal and Farrah Fawcett, is getting another chance at getting clean. The 24 year old was arrested on April 5th for drug possession. He took a friend to visit another friend in jail and when the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station officers did a routine check, they found Redmond in possession of heroin. Redmond learned this week that he will go to an intense rehab program. The program will include frequent drug testing and court appearances.
