I have a bit of catching up to do with pop culture events. First, the marriages – actress Zoey Deschanel and Death Cab for Cutie lead singer Ben Gibbard married last Saturday. It’s not that everyone hasn’t has faith that Guns N’ Roses leader Axl Rose would eventually produce his long promised Chinese Democracy album. Well, okay, maybe it was. Axl, the lone survivor of the original Guns N’ Roses band, has been working on Chinese Democracy since 1994. You read that right – he’s been working on this album for thirteen years. There are quite a few celebrities looking at doing time this week. Let’s catch up: Steven Adler – Former drummer for Guns N’ Roses If you know Steven Adler’s history, it will probably come as no surprise, but he was arrested earlier this morning on drug charges in Los Angeles. Adler was actually fired from the band Guns N’ Roses at the height of its success back in 1989 for his drug addition.
