California under Flood Watch After Kardashian Gets the Boot from "Dancing"

Man, do I feel sorry for Corky Ballas. His freshman season on "Dancing with the Stars" and he gets stuck with Cloris Leachman.

The octogenarian runs her mouth more than she does her feet and she lives to dance another week.

Incredible.

After last night's show, Leachman admitted that she had a "bad feeling" as she stood next to fellow celeb dancer Kim Kardashian and her pro partner reigning "DWTS" champ Mark Ballas (Corky's son) under the glaring red, bottom two "elimination" lights. But, alas, it was Kardashian's famous butt that got the boot and Leachman, the show's oldest-ever competitor, survived to torment Corky and the rest of us for another week.

According to various entertainment publications, Kardashian didn't take the news of her cut well at all. According to PEOPLE magazine, the 27-year-old reality TV star was "inconsolable" once the show wrapped. Sources say after the round of obligatory sympathy hugs from her fellow competitors Kardashian rushed into the arms of her family and immediately broke into tears.

A lot of tears.

Interestingly, most people (at least those in the media) pegged Kardashian to make it to at least the final five. In fact, TV's "The Insider" even went as far as to hire Kardashian's mom Kris Jenner to be their special "DWTS" correspondent covering all the behind-the-scenes drama that has made the reality TV series such a success.

I wonder if Jenner's "Insider" contract has an escape clause.

PEOPLE also reported that Kardashian's publicist was forced to follow the curvy, raven-haired beauty around the press line with a box of Kleenex because she could barely get a word out without unleashing a river of tears following her elimination. Adding to Kardashian's emotional state was the fact that she got the boot on the fifth anniversary of her dad's death.

"DWTS" judges blamed Kardashian's abbreviated stay on the show to her shyness, while others maintained that she simply didn't have the athleticism to handle the 8-hour long dance sessions.

Whatever the case may be Kardashian was clearly broken up about her elimination and is likely in need of serious re-hydration after losing an inordinate amount of tears last night.

Do you think Kardashian was the weakest dancer?

Ah, I think Cloris is a hoot! She may not be the best dancer, but she does have personality, something Kim seemed to lack IMHO.

I can't believe she got booted before Cloris. That's hysterical! And even funnier that she got so worked up about getting the boot. It's a silly dance show for pete's sake! But maybe she was more emotional than she might have been given the anniversary of her dad's death and all... I'll cut her some slack for that. Funny title, btw, Michele!

Call me a cynic but maybe the tears were a result of her reluctance to acknowledge that she isn't as popular as she thinks she is. She'll go back to her other reality TV show and life will go on.
