Another "View"-er is Born

If you were one of the many moms who emailed ABC to say that "The View" co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck was carrying a boy---pat yourselves on the back.

Elisabeth and her NFL quarterback husband Tim Hasselbeck are the proud new parents of their first son.

ABC released an announcement today that confirmed Elisabeth gave birth to a 7-lb. 15-oz. boy Friday morning at an Arizona hospital.

Okay, now, you had to see this one coming... just in time for November sweeps ABC announced that Elisabeth plans to call into "The View" Monday to announce her son's name. (She did the same thing after giving birth to her daughter Grace, who's almost 3.)

You'll recall the conservative "View" co-host moved to Arizona late last month to be with her husband after he signed a contract with the Arizona Cardinals.

And in case you were wondering, yes, Rosie O'Donnell's 30-year-old verbal sparring partner plans to return to the "Hot Topics" table in January.

Incidentally, Elisabeth's due date was November 11th and had she not made the move to Arizona she intended to begin her maternity leave on November 9th. I bet Barbara Walters would have loved to have Elisabeth give birth on the show--and by the looks of it she probably could have if she had remained in New York.

In other baby news... don't be surprised if you hear a baby announcement coming from Jennie Garth very soon.

The former "90210" star and current "Dancing with the Stars" contestant told PEOPLE magazine that she is secretly looking forward to having another baby despite the fact that all her fancy footwork on the hit ABC show has allowed her to carve out "an awesome figure."

Garth and her actor husband Peter Facinelli have three daughters: Luca Bella, 10, Lola Ray, 4 and Fiona Eve, 1.

As for trying for a boy Facinelli told the magazine: "I only make girls."

But before baby making can become a full time job for the couple, Garth has to finish what she started on "Dancing with the Stars."

"Anyone could go home at any time and I'm okay with that," Garth said. "I love my life. I can't wait to get back to it full-full time."

Geez!

Then bring back Sabrina and send Garth go home.
