After about a week’s worth of rumors, supermodel Heidi Klum and singer Seal have announced their separation. No mention of divorce yet, but can it really be far behind? No one knows, especially since Courtney Cox and David Arquette have been separated for well over a year now. But, this cannot be good for this super couple. Another Hollywood Couple Expecting a Double Blessing

Move over Marcia, Angelina and J-Lo there’s a new big mama in Tinseltown. Well, getting big anyway. Heck, given that she is a former Sports Illustrated swimsuit model she may end up looking like Nicole Kidman at nine months. Still, I’m sure she will be thrilled no matter how she appears in November. By then actress Rebecca Romijn and her husband, Jerry O’Connell will have their hands full… with twin daughters. It’s true; according to the couple’s rep, the famous pair, who just celebrated their first wedding anniversary two weeks ago, is expecting twin girls. Celebrities Practicing What They Preach… Or Not

Actor Leonardo DiCaprio could easily be the poster boy for the environment. The Oscar nominee has long been known as one of the most “green” guys on the planet. And now the environmentally conscious movie star is once again showing the world he practices what he preaches with the purchase of his new eco-friendly condominium. DiCaprio just confirmed that he dropped a whole lot of green to buy an ultra-luxe “green” space in New York’s Riverhouse, an eco-friendly building overlooking the Hudson River. The 264-unit glass tower overlooks the river and a park, and boasts low emission paints, a 24-hour … Continue reading

All Is Not Well In Tinseltown

At least for some stars… TV legend Merv Griffin has been hospitalized for a recurrence of prostate cancer. According to his rep, Griffin is being treated at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center for cancer discovered during a routine examination a few weeks ago. In a statement released earlier today the 82-year-old game show producer said: “I’d rather play Jeopardy! than live it. I was ready for a vacation; however, this wasn’t the destination I had in mind.” It’s nice to see Griffin’s sense of humor remains intact. Meanwhile, singer Jon Bon Jovi is lashing out at the owners of an energy drink. … Continue reading

Reege to the Rescue—Yet Again!

When in need turn to Reege. ABC did when they needed a host for “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire,” and now CBS has followed suit turning to the king of daytime talk to inject star power into their new primetime game show “Million Dollar Password.” The series debuted on Sunday and delivered solid ratings. Make that king-sized ratings. According to Nielsen, Sunday night’s premiere of “Million Dollar Password” was the highest rated show in its timeslot. And Regis Philbin is taking all the credit. The 76-year-old charmer doesn’t do much on the show, but that’s what makes him so … Continue reading

It’s Over!

A number of celebrity couples are headed for splitsville, which in and of itself is not that newsworthy given that divorces are a dime a dozen in Tinseltown. However, when you are talking about a celeb who made sure her wedding was the talk of the town long before (and well after) she walked down the aisle you know tongues are going to wag. Yes, it’s true; the romance is over for Star Jones and her husband Al Reynolds. According to the former “View” co-host (who characteristically decided to release a statement to TV’s “Entertainment Tonight”), she filed divorce papers … Continue reading

Generous Celebs Keep the Giving Going

There’s nothing like tax time to get you to review just how generous you’ve been in the last 12 months. And it’s not just you—–many Hollywood celebrities are taking time to total up their good (financial) deeds and some have been quite a bit more generous than others. Take for example, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. The handsome Tinseltown duo is known for helping those in need with their time and talent, but did you know that according to federal tax filings, the pair routinely digs deep (really deep) into their wallets to aid the less fortunate as well? According … Continue reading

Britney Spears’ Obit is Already Written

In the wake of the recent, sudden and tragic deaths of young actors Brad Renfro and Heath Ledger much is being made of the obituary that The Associated Press has prepared for Britney Spears. I’m sure you have noticed that whenever a famous person dies after living a long and distinguished life, major news organizations almost instantaneously come out with detailed obituaries highlighting all aspects of their lives. What you might not know is that many of those stories are produced well in advance of a star’s passing. This was not the case in the deaths of Brad Renfro and … Continue reading
