Green Day’s Angry and Alec Baldwin’s Sorry

Green Day has just released a new album and it is at the top the charts. However, if you are going to purchase it, you can save yourself a trip to Wal-Mart. The mega chain store is not carrying it. Wal-Mart, as you may know, censors some music. The company wanted Green Day to edit their new album, “21st Century Breakdown,” for language and content. I have been a fan of Fey’s since she made her debut on “SNL” (she left to head up NBC’s “30 Rock”) and would be thrilled to see her back on late-night TV. “SNL” head honcho Lorne Michaels wouldn’t confirm Fey’s temporary return; rather all he would tell reporters is that whoever plays John … Continue reading

Alec Baldwin vs. My Name is Earl Creator

I like to think that I am up to date on all the latest happenings in Hollywood, but this one totally slipped under my radar. It seems that there has been a battle going on between 30 Rock star Alec Baldwin (never one to shy away from expressing his opinion) and the creator of My Name is Earl, Greg Garcia. (Photo Source David Shankbone licensed under Creative Commons Attribution ShareAlike 3.0 Unported) Baldwin recently criticized both NBC’s lack of promotion for his show (30 Rock) and what he viewed as the over-promotion of two other shows, Scrubs and My Name … Continue reading
