Actors Reveal Deep Dark Secrets

I didn't think Isaiah Washington had any more secrets.

And I certainly wouldn't have expected that Star Jones Reynolds would be the one to reveal them.

But, in a move that the former "View" co-host deemed "completely unscripted," the former "Grey's Anatomy" star shared news that he says not many of his fans are aware of: his father was murdered and heard about it on the evening news.

The actor's revelation was a dramatic on-air surprise for Reynolds who was interviewing Washington for her new show on CourtTV.

According to Reynolds, one innocent question led to the shocking reveal.

"I hear you talking about your mother, but I never hear you talking about your dad," Reynolds said to Washington during the sit down interview.

"My father was murdered," he answered. "It was the five o'clock news on Channel 13. It was during the summer of 1976. I was 13 and the only reason I remembered that was because I heard the name 'Isaiah Washington was murdered,'" the actor told Reynolds.

After the interview Reynolds says Washington told her that his father's death was a moment that changed his life forever and that he was not at all uncomfortable discussing it with her.

Meanwhile, another actor is coming clean about a secret that is more dark than deep...

Newlywed Jerry O'Connell is so deathly afraid of losing his wedding ring that he safety pins it to his underwear. The actor, who plays a ringless divorced man on ABC's new show "Carpoolers," has to shoot his scenes without his new band. But, O'Connell doesn't want to upset his new wife, actress Rebecca Romijn by misplacing his new ring so he decided to keep it somewhere "safe."

As for where Romijn keeps her ring, O'Donnell says his new bride hardly wears her new ring. Rather, it sits "at home by the sink."
