Dame Elizabeth Taylor Hospitalized

Last week, it was reported that movie star Elizabeth Taylor, 78, had been admitted to the hospital for treatment for a heart problem. Taylor’s rep, Jamie Cadwell, issued a statement that said the iconic beauty checked into Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles for “symptoms caused by congestive heart failure” and said today that Taylor will remain in the hospital “for the time being.” She was diagnosed with congestive heart failure, which is signified by an insufficient amount of blood being pumped by a weakened heart, almost seven years ago. Eddie Fisher Dies at 82

Singer Eddie Fisher died Wednesday night at his Berkley home following complications from hip surgery. He was 82 years old. Eddie came to prominence in the early ‘50s. Hits such as “Thinking of You” and “Any Time” made him a pop superstar. His 32 hits sold millions of records and in 1955, he married girl-next-door actress Debbie Reynolds. Known as “America’s Favorite Couple,” they appeared together in 1956’s Bundle of Joy. Kiefer Sutherland Remembers Jail While Heather Locklear May Face It

Kiefer Sutherland talked to Men’s Vogue about his seven week jail sentence that he served late last year and earlier this year for DUI. In the December/January issue, which you can find on the newsstands on November 25th, two days before the season premiere of “24,” Sutherland talks about how terrible the ordeal was.
