A Royal Visit

The Prince has landed. Prince Charles that is… along with his wife Camilla arrived in the United States from Britain last night and spent much of today touring Philadelphia (he’s the first British royal to visit the state). The royal couple’s tour of the city included stops at Independence Hall, the Liberty Bell, the National Constitution Center and the Academy of Music. It’s been a busy week for Britain’s royal family and quite an emotional roller coaster ride for Prince William and Prince Harry. Do you remember author Salman Rushdie? He caused quite a stir in the Islamic world when he released his novel “The Satanic Verses” in 1988. Prince Harry going to War?

The Daily Mirror is reporting that Princess Diana’s youngest son, 22-year-old Prince Harry, is set to go to Iraq very soon. It is believed that the Defense Secretary Des Browne will make the announcement on February 26th. The royal family has not made a comment on the report and the Defense Ministry had said it was speculative earlier today, but CNN is reporting that a British Military source is saying he will indeed go to war.
