I think this is the first time a soap opera star has won the famed mirror ball trophy on “Dancing with the Stars,” but J.R. Martinez is far from a typical soap opera actor. Michael Bolton vs. Bruno Tonioli

Even if you don’t watch “Dancing with the Stars,” you might have heard about the throw down between now-eliminated celebrity dancer Michael Bolton and judge Bruno Tonioli. Bolton danced a jive to Elvis’ “Hound Dog” with partner Chelsie Hightower last Monday night and Tonioli let him have it in his critique. Bolton’s total score from all the judges was 12, with Carrie Ann Inaba giving him a 4, Len Goodman giving him a 5, and Tonioli giving him a 3.
